According to a team of scientists from France’s Sorbonne University, who analyzed records of nearly 105,000 adults, those people who eat ultra processed foods, such as packaged breads, baked goods, instant soups, chicken nuggets and frozen meatballs showed a 12% increase in cancer risk. Ultra processed foods are loaded with sugar and saturated fats and have fewer vitamins and less fiber than fresh foods. Also these foods contain additives, such as nitrates,artificial flavors and colors, emulsifiers and sweeteners.
My advise is to buy and eat foods that do not have labels and are organic, which means that they are free of pesticides, insecticides and herbacides and should be GMO free.
