1. Go Nuts with Walnuts. Walnuts contain Omega-3 fatty acids (good fats) that your brain needs. Your brain is made up of 60% good fats.
Walnuts also contain Vitamin E and flavonoids which protect your brain.

2. Fatty Fish: Such as Wild Salmon, Mackerel, Cod, Halibut, Sardines and Anchovies. Salmon is especially high in Omega-3’s which can lower levels of
beta-amyloid, a protein which is thought to play a role in Alzheimer’s Disease. If you don’t eat 8 oz’s of this type of fatty fish per week,

OLIVE OIL LOWERS BREAST CANCER RISK

Researchers asked more than 4,000 women between the ages of 60 and 80 to follow one of three diets, a Mediterranean diet infused with extra-virgin olive oil. a Mediterranean diet rich in nuts, or a low-fat diet. After 5 years, the extra virgin olive oil dieters had a 68% reduced risk for breast cancer. The Mediterranean diet is also low in meat, dairy and sugar.

A study published in the Journal, Alcohol: Clinical and Experimental Research showed that alcohol changes the normal rhythms of your sleep, by increasing the amount
of time you spend in deep sleep. Alcohol decreased the amount of time you spend in Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, by disrupting sleep during this stage, which is necessary
for memory, concentration and motor skills.
If you are going to drink alcohol, make sure it is earlier in the evening, not at bedtime.
