According to a study published in the British Medical Journal cutting back on salt in your diet can help to prevent headaches.
When 390 people with high blood pressure or pre high blood pressure were given diets with 3,300 mg of Salt, 2,400 mg of Salt, and 1500 mg of Salt daily, the results showed that the people eating a low sodium (Salt is 40% Sodium) were 30% less likely to report a headache.
