LEAFY GREENS UP- DEMENTIA DOWN

Researchers from Rush and Tufts University monitored the brain function of 960 older people with an average age of 81 for about five years. They found that the people who reported eating at least once daily serving of kale, spinach, or another green leafy vegetables had the brain function of someone 11 years younger.
Scientists speculate that eating these types of foods can help protect against stress and inflammation, as well as heart disease and diabetes, which take a long=term toll on your brain.
