AIR POLLUTION AND ALZHEIMER’S CONNECTION

A study done by David Allsop as told to the British Broadcasting Corporation, concluded that breathing air polluted by traffic fumes may be harmful not only to your heart, lungs and brain. Millions of tiny particles of magnetite, an iron oxide, where found in the brain tissue of people who lived in busy cities. In high concentrations, they have been linked to Alzheimer’s and other neuro-degenerative diseases. The World Health Organization has warned that air pollution causes up to 1 million premature deaths each year.
